| Twitter Launches Subscription Service Rp 1 Million Per Month |
Twitter began testing this Promote Mode feature for some of the users who were selected (invite-only) since July 2017. Now, Twitter is beginning to provide it to the wider public.
The Promote Mode feature allows users to boost their post and profile impressions to more accounts, including non-followers or non-follwers in their timeline.
For those who want to have this feature, have to pay 99 US dollars or about Rp 1 million per month.
From this mode, users can monitor all advertising activities, including how many followers they have earned and how many accounts have viewed their postings and visited their profile.
If using a desktop, users can access this feature as well as view metrics through Sprout Social, software that engages in social media management, business advocacy and analytics.
While Twitter presents an automated way to promote posts, ad success is determined by user-generated content. Reported by KompasTekno from Engadget, Thursday (9/11/2017), posting for ads still must contain good content, informative, or a little humor to convince candidates followers willing to follow each post their ad.
Promote Mode feature appears to boost Twitter profits. This assumption comes after Twitter reported that they experienced keruggian close to 21 million US dollars or Rp 3 billion in the third quarter 2017.
If this feature does not go as expected, it will be difficult for Twitter to reap the benefits of the company.
The plan, Promote Mode features will also be released in Japan. There has been no leak when this feature can be used in Indonesia.
