Microsoft has confirmed their plans to turn Windows 10 S into a special 'S Mode' in the regular version of Windows operating system 10. This has caused confusion for some people. Related to this, Microsoft provides more detailed information.

"Starting from the next update of Windows 10 that we will soon be doing, customers can choose to buy a new Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro PC with S Mode," Belfiore added.
