Sony introduced their latest  "USB hub " device. Instead of the usual USB hub, this MRW-S3 device is supplied with a claimed UHS-II SD/microSD card slot that has the fastest file transfer speeds in the world.

As for the speed of reading files in the SD card slot in this USB hub can reach 300 MBps.
With such speeds, professional workers who rely on SD cards can quickly move photos or videos from their camera to a computer via this USB hub.

In addition to the SD and microSD card slots, the USB hub is also equipped with a 2nd generation USB 3.1 port that is claimed to have file transfer speeds of up to 1000 MB/s.

There is also an HDMI port capable of producing 4K images with a 30 fps frame rate along with A USB-A port.

On the power management side, the MRW-S3 USB Hub has Power Delivery features up to 100 watts. This means that users can leverage this USB hub to connect monitors and support a wide range of high-power devices that can connect to USB ports.

In terms of durability, Sony's latest USB hub has an IP68 water resistance level and is coated with a scratch-resistant aluminum design.

Although it has already been announced, the Sony has not yet explained the price of the USB hub.

However, the MRW-S3 USB hub itself will be sold to the market towards the end of this year, Monday (15/7/2019).

Along with the initial sales of USB hub MRW-S3, Sony also sold separately a number of the latest SD cards SF-M Tough series with a capacity of 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.
